Delegation of the Customs Administration led by the Director General and representatives of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) had a meeting today at the Customs Administration.

To further facilitate the work of the economic operators transporting express mail consignments and in accordance with the process of introduction of e-customs, the Customs Administration of the Republic of North Macedonia, as of 05.08.2020 is introducing mandatory submission of a document-pre-arrival manifest for all express mail consignments.

Over the past two weeks, the customs officers foiled three attempts for illegal withdrawals transfer of cash from the country, one attempt for smuggling of gold objects, one attempt for import of counterfeits and one attempt for trafficking migrants.

The Diplomatic and Consular representative offices, as well as the representative offices of all relevant international organizations in the Republic of North Macedonia need to complete the procedure for electronic registration in the e-Excise system of the CDEPS.
