A delegation of the Customs Administration, headed by the Director, attend the 13th meeting of the South-East European Centre for Law Enforcement (SELEC), held today (November 17, 2016) in Bucharest, Romania.j

The event marks the 5th anniversary of the existence of SELEC as an international body for fighting crime and Centre for Regional Cooperation of Police and Customs from 12 Balkan countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Macedonia, Greece, Hungary, Moldova, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia and Turkey) and for the first time since its existence has Director general of the Republic of Macedonia. During the meeting were presented the results of SELEC over five years of operations, plans for future work, as well as the challenges that continue to face the Member States.

Customs Administration has daily successful cooperation within the SELEC, and work on deepening cooperation through increased exchange of information and initiate joint actions to combat crime in Southeast Europe
