Within the CEFTA Conference - Looking back and moving forward organized by GIZ, CEFTA and the European Commission, held in Tivat, Montenegro, the Director General of the Customs Administration as a panelist and chair of the CEFTA Customs Subcommittee presented the Customs Administration’s achievements on facilitating trade and digitalization.

Implementation of AEO international recognition, joint risk analysis profiles and SEED + should start this year.

Today, the Customs Administration of the Republic of North Macedonia, in cooperation with the State Market Inspectorate conducted two raids targeted at illicit sale of cigarettes, cut tobacco and other tobacco products.

On 18 th February 2020, the Director General of the Customs Administration, Mr. Gjoko Tanasoski paid a visit to the Automobile Parts Factory Telamon, a factory that manufactures coupling machines, automatic cutting machines, strips, cutting and closing machines.

At a bilateral meeting held yesterday, the Minister of Environment and Water of the Republic of Bulgaria, Emil Dimitrov and the Minister of Environment and Physical Planning, Nuredini talked about strengthening the control of the cross border movement of waste.

In the course of January the customs officers prevented illegal crossing of the state border of 4 migrants and several attempts for smuggling goods, including motorcycles, motor vehicle spare parts, clothing, women's handbags, footwear, statuettes, eyeglasses and cigarettes.
