On the occasion of the 14th April – Day of the Customs Administration, we have organized several events to mark 27 years since the establishment of independent Customs Administration of the Republic of North Macedonia.

9 April 2019 (Tuesday): 

Blood Drive 

On the occasion of 14th April - Day of the Customs Administration of the Republic of North Macedonia, a traditional Blood Drive under the slogan "Your blood saves life - join us" is organized on the entire territory of the country.

The Blood drive will take place on 9th April 2019 (Tuesday) at the premises of the Customs Administration, starting at 9.00 am (Aquarium Hall).

11 April 2019 (Thursday): 

The formal ceremony will start at 12.00h, at the National Philharmonic. The President of the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia, Mr. Zoran Zaev and the Director General of the Customs Administration Mr. Gjoko Tanasoski will open the ceremony.

At the ceremony, the new concept of "Digital Customs" and the Annual Report on the activities of the Customs Administration in 2018 will be presented. Last year we completed the project for implementation of the new Customs Declaration and Excise Documents Processing System and launched its pilot application. The benefits of this system will be presented with a promotion video. A video presenting how several customs procedures conducted at import in, export from and transit of goods through the country will also be promoted. At the ceremony the Director General will present plaques and certificates of appreciation to organizations, individuals, customs officers and organizational units of the Customs Administration that made a significant contribution to the progress of the institution in 2018.

24 April 2019 (Wednesday): 

PUBLIC CAMPAIGN„STOP COUNTERFEITS“

As part of the activities organized on the occasion of 14 April, the Customs Administration is conducting a public campaign "Stop Counterfeitss". The campaign started on 24th April 2019, with stands of the Customs Administration in the biggest shopping centers in Skopje, where citizens are informed about customs activities in the fight against counterfeits and how to easily identify counterfeits.
